Nordic Impact Cooperation
The Central Retail rooftop solar portfolio stands as one of Norsk Renewables’ most significant achievements in advancing clean energy in Vietnam. Developed to power Central Retail’s operations across 10 shopping malls, this project embodies our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
With 11 MW of installed capacity, the system has delivered over 11,700 MWh of renewable energy annually, helping avoid 8,100 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year. Beyond numbers, it represents our vision to enable businesses to transition to greener operations while reducing costs and environmental impact.
The financing was done together with Norfund and Finnfund (NIC Nordic Impact Cooperation).
As this portfolio moves to Verdant Energy in October 2025, we are pleased to see the continued journey under a partner equally dedicated to scaling renewable solutions. For Norsk Renewables, the Central Retail project remains a proud legacy—proof that collaboration and ambition can drive meaningful change for communities and the planet.
