Ukraine

Ukraine stands at a crossroads in its energy transition journey, poised with challenges, and in harnessing renewable energy sources, still they are determined to succeed. Norsk Renewables entered the country in 2020, and operates the Semipolky project, 9 MW.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 created a very challenging and uncertain situation. Norsk Renewables' top priority is the safety and well-being of the Ukrainian people working on our asset. The plant is intact, and is in operation, but is being curtailed by the grid operator on an ad hoc basis. Norsk Renewables see this as our contribution to Ukraine.
