The Origo I project has 2 sites in Uberlandia, a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. It is the second largest municipality in the state of Minas Gerais after the state capital Belo Horizonte. The city is located in the Brazilian Highlands 2,802 feet (854 m) above sea level. It is an important logistic hub between Sao Paulo and Brasilia.

Uberlandia

As part of the Origo I pipeline, Norsk Renewables has developed a pipeline of 2 PV plants, each 3 MW, Uberlandia in the state of Minas Gerais. The total project consists of 6 PV plants of 2.5 MWas/3 MWp each. The projects have passed a strict legal, environmental, and social impact assessment following the IFC PS.

The PV plants reached COD in Q4 23/Q1 24.
